Maximum Graphics made a pledge to conserve resources, prevent pollution and minimize waste on opening day in 1989. We believe that reducing, reusing and recycling are our corporate responsibility and we take that responsibility very seriously. Listed below are some of the processes we currently employ that show our commitment to our environment:
- Paper recycling – average 75,000 lbs. of cardboard and loose paper every year
- Paper suppliers are FSC certified
- Chemicals from the pre-press process have been eliminated by the installation of a Heidleberg CTP system
- PDF proofing replaces hard copy proofs for non color-critical work
- Disposal services used for the minimal amounts of ink and chemical waste in the workflow
- Metal plates are reused and recycled
- Packaging is done with biodegradable products
We do all of this because we not only work here, we live here.
“Maximum Graphics, who pledges to reduce, recycle and reuse at every turn for the benefit of all, has suggested ways for Johnson and Johnson to reduce environmental waste.”
